Roadsist Auto is an independent vehicle recovery and transport business based in Cleland, North Lanarkshire. We recover broken-down and damaged vehicles, move cars for private owners and the trade, and handle scrap collection and export to the EU.
Our prices are published
Most recovery firms won’t give you a figure until you ring. Ours are on the pricing page — base rates, mileage, surcharges and add-ons — and you can work out your own job on the quote form.
It saves you a phone call, and you know what you are agreeing to before we set off.
How we work
- You get a person. The number goes to whoever is sending the truck, not a call centre.
- The price is agreed before we set off, including any surcharge for a locked wheel or a missing key.
- You know who is coming. We text the driver’s name and arrival window before we leave.
- The vehicle is insured while we have it, under goods-in-transit and road risk cover. Ask for the certificate and we’ll send it.
Garages and repairs
Getting the vehicle moved is usually only half of it. We work with local mechanics, MOT centres and body shops, and we’ll point you at the right one for the job.
We recommend on experience, not commission. If the vehicle isn’t worth repairing we’ll say so — we buy vehicles for scrap, so we can tell you what it’s worth either way.
Areas we cover
Most of our work is in North Lanarkshire and Glasgow. Beyond that we run booked transport across Scotland and England, and scheduled export loads to the EU, mainly Bulgaria and the Balkans. Full detail on the coverage page.
