Coverage
Areas we cover
We work out of Cleland, between Motherwell and Wishaw. North Lanarkshire and Glasgow are the quickest for us to reach; everywhere else is a booked collection.
Distance is charged base to pick-up to drop-off. The run home isn’t charged.
Response
Cleland to Glasgow city centre is 18 miles.

Towns
Towns we cover most
North Lanarkshire
Cleland, Motherwell, Wishaw, Bellshill, Airdrie, Coatbridge, Cumbernauld, Shotts
Glasgow
City centre, East End, Rutherglen, Cambuslang, Baillieston, Easterhouse
South Lanarkshire
Hamilton, East Kilbride, Blantyre, Larkhall, Carluke, Lanark
Wider Central Belt
Falkirk, Livingston, Edinburgh, Stirling, Paisley, Renfrew
We work outside these areas too. It becomes a booked transport job rather than a callout, priced the same way per mile.
Motorways
Motorway and trunk road callouts
Cleland sits a few minutes from the M8 at Newhouse, which puts most of the Central Belt network within a short run. We take callouts on:
- M8 between Glasgow and Livingston
- M74 from Hamilton south towards Abington
- M73 and the A8 through Baillieston
- A71, A73 and A721 across Lanarkshire
- A725 and A726 through East Kilbride
If you are on a live lane or a blind bend, say so when you ring. Get behind a barrier if you can and leave the vehicle.
Timing
What affects how soon we reach you
Distance is only part of it. In practice the things that move the arrival time are:
- Where the truck already is. We may be mid-job at the other end of a run.
- Time of day. The M8 through Glasgow at 08:30 is not the M8 at 22:00.
- Access. Underground car parks, height barriers, gravel and steep drives all add time.
- Whether the wheels turn. A vehicle that will roll loads faster than one that won’t.
We give you an arrival window on the call and text the driver’s name before setting off.
Getting to you outside the Central Belt
Anywhere beyond the towns above is a booked job rather than a callout. That is not a different service and it is not priced differently — it is the same rate card, per mile, with a collection time agreed in advance instead of us setting off immediately.
In practice that covers the rest of Scotland, England and Wales: auction collections from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Carlisle, Manchester and further south, dealer movements, and non-runners that need to get somewhere without being driven.
For journeys leaving the country, see UK to EU export. Those run on a schedule rather than on demand.
Not sure if we reach you?
Give us the postcode. If we can’t get there quickly we’ll say so, and usually we know someone who can.
