Scrap car collection
End-of-life or beyond-economical-repair vehicles collected, paid for, and notified to the DVLA so the liability leaves you.

We collect the vehicle, pay you for it, and notify the DVLA that you are no longer the keeper. That last part matters: until the DVLA is told, the vehicle is still legally yours, and so is anything that happens with it.
You’ll need the V5C if you have it, and photo ID. Payment is never in cash — that’s been illegal for scrap metal in Scotland since 2016, and anyone offering it is telling you something about how they operate.
Since Brexit a UK vehicle entering the EU is an import, with customs formalities at the border and registration at the other end. We run scheduled loads to Bulgaria and the surrounding region and handle the documentation as part of the job.
The practical questions are usually the same: is the vehicle worth more there than here, what does the destination country require for registration, and how long until it’s on the road again. Ask and we’ll give you a straight answer, including when the answer is “this isn’t worth exporting”.
Tell us the make, model and condition and we’ll tell you whether it’s worth scrapping or worth exporting.
