What is stored on your device

One thing, and it is not a cookie. If you use the light/dark switch in the header, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the name roadsist-theme, so the site opens the way you left it.

That value never leaves your device. It is not sent to us, it is not readable by anyone else, and it identifies nothing about you. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings, or by switching your browser to private mode.

Why there is no cookie banner

Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, consent is needed before storing information on your device unless it is strictly necessary for a service you asked for. Because we set no cookies and store nothing beyond your own display preference, there is nothing to ask you about.

Fonts

Page type is served by Google Fonts. Your browser requests the font files from Google, which means Google can see your IP address as part of that request. No cookie is set by it.

When you contact us

If you send a booking request or an enquiry, the details you type are emailed to us so we can answer. That is covered by our privacy policy, not this page.

If this changes

If we add analytics or any other third-party service in future, this page will be updated before it goes live and a consent banner will appear, because at that point consent would genuinely be required.
